The Vondom Adan vase polycarbonate blurs the boundary between sculpture and functional design, transforming an everyday planter into a contemporary work of art. Its unmistakable faceted face interacts with light, reflections, and surrounding architecture, creating an ever-changing visual presence that becomes the focal point of entrances, luxury residences, boutique hotels, art galleries, and prestigious outdoor spaces. More than a container for plants, this face shaped designer planter introduces emotion, identity, and artistic expression into every environment, proving that design can communicate long before it fulfils a practical purpose.
An artistic vision by Teresa Sapey
Created by Teresa Sapey, Vondom Adan explores the dialogue between geometry and human expression through a sculptural language inspired by contemporary art. Manufactured in injection-moulded polycarbonate resin, the planter combines exceptional strength with remarkable visual lightness thanks to the material’s low viscosity and high mechanical performance. Shock resistant and fully recyclable, it is available in 70 cm and 100 cm heights, allowing designers to create compositions that range from subtle interior accents to monumental architectural installations without losing the distinctive identity of the collection.
A sculptural presence within the Vondom Vases collection
As one of the most recognisable pieces in the Vondom Vases collection, Adan is available in white, black, grey, and blue, each finish highlighting the faceted surfaces in a different way as natural and artificial light changes throughout the day. Its expressive silhouette naturally embodies the character of a modern art vase geometric face, while its iconic proportions allow it to perform equally as a luxury decorative planter statement piece or an unforgettable contemporary design planter. Whether displayed individually or repeated as part of a larger architectural composition, Adan transforms space into a visual experience.
Designed for architecture, hospitality and public spaces
The expressive character of Adan makes it particularly suited to projects where furniture contributes directly to the architectural narrative. Positioned at the entrance of luxury hotels, beside panoramic swimming pools, within museum courtyards, contemporary office buildings, or combined with pieces from Vondom Lighting, the planter becomes an unmistakable landmark capable of defining the identity of a place. Its sculptural geometry creates a dialogue with both modern and historic architecture, offering designers a decorative element that remains memorable regardless of scale or context.
Design innovation signed by Vondom
Internationally recognised for transforming outdoor furniture into contemporary design icons, Vondom has made Adan one of the brand’s most celebrated sculptural creations. The Adan vase Teresa Sapey perfectly represents the evolution of the premium sculptural outdoor plant pot, while the opportunity to buy Vondom Adan planter means choosing an object that transcends functionality to become part of the architecture itself. Every Vondom Adan polycarbonate vase expresses creativity, technical innovation, and timeless artistic character, bringing personality and lasting visual impact to the world’s most sophisticated interiors and outdoor spaces.
