Serralunga Sirchester armchair

The Serralunga Sirchester armchair, designed by Matteo Bazzicalupo & Raffaella Mangiarotti, brings the charm of the English Chesterfield into open-air environments. Its generous silhouette recalls a timeless archetype, yet the reinterpretation in polyethylene transforms it into an outdoor icon, sculptural and elegant. Ideal for luxury gardens, modern terraces, and high-end hospitality projects, this armchair combines memory and modernity in perfect balance. It resonates with the Matteo Bazzicalupo & Raffaella Mangiarotti x Serralunga vision of functional sculpture for contemporary living.

Colours that create identity

The armchair is offered in a curated palette of white, anthracite, dove, terracotta, peacock green, and olive. Each shade defines a different character: pure minimalism in white, strong architectural depth in anthracite, warm Mediterranean resonance in terracotta, or natural harmony in green tones. These options allow the elegant garden seat to adapt seamlessly to private villas, luxury hotel terraces, and resort courtyards, while harmonizing with contemporary outdoor planters and Serralunga lighting solutions.

Strength in every detail

Beneath its sculptural form lies the durability of advanced polyethylene. Resistant to shocks, UV rays, and extreme temperatures from -35°C to +80°C, it ensures resilience season after season. The material, 100% recyclable and solution-dyed, maintains colour brilliance over time. Lacquered finishes add a further layer of refinement but require delicate care. This blend of strength and sophistication defines the essence of a Bazzicalupo Mangiarotti design and complements other Rodolfo Dordoni x Serralunga creations in curated garden compositions.

Designed for integration

Sirchester establishes connections with complementary collections. It integrates fluidly with Pedrali contemporary outdoor pieces, its versatility makes it suitable for modern villas, urban terraces, and resort patios, always maintaining its identity as a sculptural Sirchester armchair.Chosen by architects, landscape designers, and collectors worldwide, the Sirchester embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation. Recognized as a classic in Serralunga‘s catalogue, it is admired for its ability to bring refined comfort outdoors while preserving the essence of an icon. More than furniture, it becomes an emblem of durability and elegance, designed to endure yet destined to stand out in luxury hospitality settings and private landscaped gardens.
