Serralunga Russel chair

Serralunga Russel chair is the expression of one of Italy’s great masters of design, Vico Magistretti. Known for creating objects that are both essential and poetic, Magistretti infused Russel with balance and discretion. Its silhouette is straightforward, defined by clean lines and harmonious proportions, yet it carries an unmistakable presence. Belonging to Serralunga’s furniture collection, it adapts naturally to private gardens, patios, and refined hospitality projects, where it sits alongside Pedrali’s contemporary chairs to create elegant outdoor compositions.

Performance and material innovation

Russel is crafted in durable polyethylene, a material selected for outdoor resilience. Resistant to UV rays, impacts, and extreme temperatures, it ensures long-lasting performance across climates. Entirely recyclable and solution-dyed, it preserves the intensity of its colors: anthracite, white, and dove; season after season. Easy to maintain with mild soap and water, this chair embodies durability with elegance, becoming one of Serralunga‘s highlights for both residential and hospitality contexts.

A versatile palette

Each finish reveals a different nuance of the design. Anthracite underlines the modern anthracite chair character, highlighting structure and form. White enhances its minimal clarity, while dove conveys soft neutrality, perfect for understated elegance. This chromatic range allows Russel to integrate into varied contexts, from classic terraces to contemporary patios. In curated projects, it finds balance with Gufram’s bold interior décor, offering contrast between simplicity and playful expression, while always maintaining its identity as an elegant garden chair.

Integration within curated settings

As part of the brand’s catalogue, the Russel chair interacts seamlessly with Serralunga exclusive design objects and accessories. It pairs beautifully with Serralunga modern planters in residential gardens, complements bold hospitality layouts with Pedrali furniture, and balances eclectic arrangements that feature Ibride or Gufram. Its simple lines allow it to serve as either a discreet companion to bolder pieces or a central element in minimal compositions.

A signature of design history

Recognized internationally as a Vico Magistretti chair, Russel is admired for embodying elegance without excess. It is valued as designer outdoor seating that respects tradition while embracing innovation through materials and form. More than just patio furniture polyethylene, it resonates with the identity of Serralunga luminous creations and collections like the Serralunga Aqua Collection, proving that timeless design can unite durability, beauty, and innovation in a way that remains relevant year after year.
