Serralunga Regista chair

Few objects carry such strong symbolism as the director’s chair. Serralunga Regista, designed by Michel Boucquillon, reinterprets this icon of film sets and backstage energy, transforming it into a durable and elegant outdoor seat. Its lines evoke cinema instantly: the folding structure, the stretched cloth, and the minimalist frame convey authority and creativity. More than a theatrical reference, it becomes a fully functional director outdoor chair ideal for gardens, terraces, and hospitality lounges.

Lightness and practicality

Known for portability, the Serralunga Regista chair enhances this quality in outdoor use. Crafted in high-performance polyamide, it is extremely light yet resistant. When folded, it measures only 14 cm, allowing easy storage or transport. The high-strength cloth, used in marine outdoor furniture, ensures resistance to weather, sunlight, and wear. This balance of technical innovation and classic design makes the foldable white chair both iconic and functional. In modern layouts, it pairs effortlessly with Pedrali stylish tables, creating practical yet refined outdoor settings.

Designed for outdoor living

Created to endure all-weather conditions, Serralunga Regista thrives outdoors. Its UV protection, mechanical strength, and reinforced joints allow continuous use without compromising performance. Simple cleaning with mild detergent suffices, while lacquered finishes require delicate care. In private gardens, it functions as a luxury garden seat for reading or socializing. In commercial settings, it provides stylish seating for cafés, poolside areas, and resorts, blending tradition and innovation. It also complements Serralunga modern planters, enhancing outdoor compositions.
