The Serralunga Cassero vase, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is a tribute to architectural gestures transformed into everyday objects. Its textured surface and bold proportions evoke the tactile impression of concrete casting molds, reinterpreted through the lightness of polyethylene. The result is a planter that balances sculptural rigor with poetic softness, perfect for modern villas and contemporary terraces, adapting effortlessly to both indoor and outdoor landscapes.
Material resistance and sustainable elegance
Crafted in durable polyethylene, the Serralunga Cassero vase withstands outdoor conditions in every season. Resistant to impacts, UV rays, and extreme temperatures (-35°C to +80°C), it combines strength with refined aesthetics. Solution-dyed and fully recyclable, it retains color brilliance over time. Lacquered finishes benefit from delicate polishing with a soft tissue to preserve their elegance, making it a favored choice among design studios and landscape architects seeking sustainable yet luxurious solutions. For curated terraces, it complements the bold forms of the Marcantonio collection and the tactile appeal of the Dordoni’s Ming collection.
Versatility of sizes and colours
Available in 60, 83, and 100 cm heights, and in sophisticated shades like chalk, sage, dove, dark terracotta, origano, and anthracite, the Cassero adapts to various contexts. Its sculptural presence frames entrances, enhances terraces, or accents interiors. It harmonizes with the imaginative forms of Ibride furniture, complements the functional elegance of Pedrali tables, and interacts naturally with modern outdoor planters for refined residential and hospitality arrangements.
A dialogue with curated collections
The Cassero engages in a dialogue with other contemporary design icons. Its textured aesthetic contrasts playfully with Gufram interior décor, while integrating seamlessly with Serralunga collectible design and accessories and Serralunga’s furniture. Celebrated as the Serralunga Cassero, it is recognized as a Patricia Urquiola design and valued as a modern architectural planter or premium textured pot, uniting material innovation, sculptural impact, and timeless elegance.
