Serralunga Canisse armchair

The Serralunga Canisse armchair, designed by Philippe Nigro, is distinguished by its architectural clarity. Its structure is defined by vertical slats that create rhythm and proportion, offering a seat that is both visually striking and comfortable. The design references protective enclosures, transforming them into an elegant outdoor armchair.

Engineered for resistance

Produced in high-quality polyethylene, Canisse is designed to perform in demanding outdoor environments. It resists impacts, UV rays, and temperatures from -35°C to +80°C while being entirely recyclable. The solution-dyed material ensures long-lasting colour stability, while lacquered versions add refinement but require more delicate maintenance.

Colour range

Available in white, anthracite, and dove, the armchair adapts to different atmospheres. White emphasizes its sculptural profile, anthracite enhances its architectural strength, and dove offers a softer, more neutral elegance. This essential palette ensures versatility across residential gardens, hospitality projects, and public outdoor spaces.

Contextual integration

Part of the Serralunga’s furniture category, Canisse integrates easily into curated environments. It resonates with the imaginative character of Ibride furniture, interacts with Serralunga planter collection and collectible design, and creates balance alongside Gufram’s bold interior décor. For contract use, it pairs seamlessly with Pedrali seating, offering coherent solutions for lounges and terraces.

Designer luxury

Known as the Serralunga Canisse, this piece is recognised as a structured garden armchair that merges function and design. It is admired as a Philippe Nigro chair for outdoor living, appreciated as a luxury outdoor seat, and valued as modern design seating that combines geometry, comfort, and resilience.
