Expectation, also called The Waiting, is a dancer from Klimt’s Stoclet Frieze (1905–11), framed by the golden spirals of the Tree of Life.
Made with the glass fusion technique: sheets of coloured Murano glass are cut by hand, composed piece by piece and fused in the kiln, then finished by hand. Original Murano glass, made entirely by hand in Italy by master glassmakers: no two vases are ever the same. Beautiful with flowers or on its own.
