Graceful yet understated, the Ichendorf Levels jug by Chiara Onida expresses the quiet precision of contemporary Italian design. Its layered transparency creates a play of light and shadow, turning this essential object into a sculptural centerpiece. Available in smoke and petrol finishes and in two sizes (1L and 1.5L), this jug enhances any table setting, from daily meals to refined gatherings, with the same sense of balance and elegance that defines the Levels collection.
Handmade in Borosilicate Glass
Each Levels pitcher is crafted by hand using lamp-worked borosilicate glass, a material celebrated for its clarity, lightness, and durability. Its silhouette combines functionality with fluid design, embodying Ichendorf’s philosophy of fusing craftsmanship with innovation. Suitable for alimentary use and dishwasher safe at low temperatures (40 °C / 104 °F recommended), it’s a piece designed for modern living while honoring traditional techniques.
A Perfect Match for the Modern Table
This jug seamlessly pairs with the Ichendorf’s design tumbler trends from the Botanica collection, creating a coordinated yet dynamic table composition. Its minimalist aesthetic also harmonizes with the Ichendorf bottles line and complements Ichendorf vases when used as a decorative accent. Whether filled with water, wine, or flowers, the Levels jug brings clarity and structure to every environment.
Design Vision by Chiara Onida
Chiara Onida’s collaboration with Ichendorf embodies her distinctive approach: transforming simplicity into architectural poetry. The Levels jug is not only a vessel but also a visual experience: layers of glass capturing reflections and nuances. This designer and elegant jug invites both tactile and visual appreciation, bridging the worlds of function and art in perfect equilibrium.
