Gufram Flowie soft seat in polyurethane

Imagine a seat that resembles a blooming flower more than a traditional chair. This is the poetic vision behind Flowie, created by Supertoys Supertoys, who coined the term “Radical Cuteness” to describe their playful philosophy. With its whimsical contours and pastel shades, Flowie goes beyond simple function: it transforms interiors into dreamlike scenarios where practicality and fantasy merge. Unlike ordinary seating, its presence evokes wonder and delight, encouraging both children and adults to see furniture as something emotional and imaginative. Flowie represents a new chapter of Radical Italian Design: one that is daring yet gentle, lighthearted, and deeply engaging.

Materiality and Craftsmanship

The Gufram Flowie is crafted from soft polyurethane, a material chosen for durability and flexibility while preserving a sculptural quality. Each chair is hand-finished, making every piece subtly unique. Available in delicate tones of orange, pink, and cream, Flowie adapts effortlessly to diverse settings, from modern lofts to eclectic hospitality spaces, bringing warmth and whimsy. Its resilience ensures everyday usability, while its sculptural form elevates it into a collectible object of design.

Playful Connections

As part of Gufram’s ongoing dialogue with radical creativity, Flowie harmonizes naturally with the icons of Maurizio Cattelan & Pierpaolo Ferrari for Gufram, the daring provocations of Ceretti/Derossi/Rosso x Gufram. The Supertoys Supertoys Flowie is more than an modern pastel chair: it is a sculptural companion that inspires imagination. Embodying softness in both material and spirit, it turns interiors into surreal gardens where design becomes the stage for dreams.

A Companion for Dreamers

More than just a designer playful seat by Gufram, it stands as a symbol of how design can renew itself: true to avant-garde roots while embracing joy, irony, and cuteness. For collectors, architects, and design enthusiasts, Flowie is not simply a seat but a radical statement; proof that Italian design continues to surprise by transforming the extraordinary into everyday reality.
