The Serralunga Bonnie hedgehog shaped decoration, designed by Alessandra Baldereschi, introduces a sense of storytelling and playfulness into contemporary design. Its rounded, stylized silhouette transforms a simple decorative object into a charming presence that enlivens gardens, terraces, patios, or even indoor corners. Bonnie adds personality, warmth, and a touch of humor to any setting, making it a versatile Serralunga design decor for both private and public spaces.
Strength behind the smile
Crafted from rotationally moulded polyethylene, Bonnie combines whimsical charm with robust durability. Resistant to UV rays, impacts, and extreme temperatures from –35°C to +80°C, it withstands outdoor conditions while maintaining its playful character. Fully recyclable and solution-dyed, the piece ensures long-lasting color and texture, allowing it to remain a vibrant accent season after season in gardens, terraces, or hospitality environments such as boutique hotels and lounge areas.
A whimsical companion for every space
Bonnie is available in different classic Serralunga colours: dark terracotta, dove, olive, stone, light blue, and corten. Each color offers a different mood, allowing the playful outdoor sculpture to harmonize with a variety of landscapes, architectural styles, and interior design schemes. From bright and playful patios to sophisticated terraces or indoor design corners, this chromatic palette ensures the hedgehog decoration can either stand out as a focal point or complement other decorative elements.
Integration with design collections
The Serralunga design ornament integrates effortlessly with Serralunga design furniture and planters, creating cohesive arrangements in both private and commercial settings. It also pairs seamlessly with Pedrali lounge seating or the bold, eclectic aesthetics of Gufram statement décor. Its small scale contrasts beautifully with larger sculptural pieces, adding playful accents that enrich curated compositions in gardens, terraces, hotel lobbies, or indoor lounges.
Signature of the designer
Bonnie embodies the poetic and imaginative vision of Alessandra Baldereschi x Serralunga. Far from being a simple garden animal decor, it becomes a narrative object that blends humor, simplicity, and quality. Nestled among plants, furniture, and everyday environments, Bonnie tells a story, inviting interaction and delight. Its presence in residential gardens, urban terraces, or boutique hospitality projects highlights the joyful side of contemporary design, making it both a decorative accent and a symbol of playful sophistication.
